Order Support Specialist

Location: Madison, WI (On-site)

Pay: $22.00/hour

Position Type: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Support Specialist to join a growing operations team. This role is ideal for candidates with data entry, administrative, or customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong eye for detail.

The successful candidate will support high-volume order processing operations, ensuring customer orders are accurately reviewed, entered, and maintained within company systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process approximately 100 customer orders per day.
  • Review submitted orders to ensure all required information is complete and accurate.
  • Verify order details against supporting documentation.
  • Enter and maintain order information within company systems.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing information, and data errors.
  • Ensure orders are processed according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor order queues and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain needed information and ensure timely order completion.
  • Support business operations during periods of increased order volume.
QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in:
    • Data entry
    • Administrative support
    • Customer service
    • Order processing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience using Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Previous order management or operations support experience.
