Job description

Join the Customer Service Department at Grassland Dairy Products — where teamwork and exceptional customer care matter.

The Order Processing Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional support to both internal and external customers. Working closely with the Sales Department, the Specialist helps ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.

Although the role contributes to the overall customer experience, the position is primarily focused on internal support and collaboration. Candidates must be able to work on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position is based in-office and follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule.
  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured.
  • Receives and researches customer complaints.
  • Maintains customer database.
  • Transmits pricing to customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively to maintain high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of products and production processes to assist with customer questions.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with management, sales, and other departments to solve problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • This position requires strong communication and computer skills, and strong attention to detail.
