Our systems protect critical infrastructure in over 150 countries, serving airports, government buildings, military bases, and more. We are a fast-growing, dynamic company seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our Research and Development facility located in Ontario, California.

Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the production schedule, warehousing, materials management and production at our manufacturing facility in Ontario, California. This position manages the day to day operations and supervises production and warehouse personnel. The supervisor works closely with engineering, operations and management to ensure proper material flow, efficiency, quality, and on-time deliveries.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead and coordinate daily Operations activities, including planning, warehousing, materials management and production.
  • Lead warehouse staff in all aspects of receiving, packaging and crating, order prep and pick process.
  • Manage cycle counts; work with receiving inspection to reduce MRB and returns to vendor.
  • Track WIP and report to management; report schedule delays and work with departments to resolve.
  • Accurately transact in ERP system by ensuring proper execution of work orders and change work orders.
  • Interface with Buyers and Planners to prevent and resolve material shortages.
  • Interface with engineers to address ECRs, BOMs/drawing issues, transitions from R&D to production processes.
  • Ensure successful customer relationships by providing on-time, accurate information to key stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Oversee order processing and product demonstration preparations, collaborate with relevant departments, and update management on progress.
  • Lead operational excellence, including safety, quality, cost reduction, and on time deliveries.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Administration, Operations Management, or Engineering preferred
  • 3 to 5 years operations experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficient in Excel;
  • Experience with ERPs;
  • Exceptional organization, adaptability, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in an unstructured environment.
