Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Order Management Supervisor the Order Management Specialist I will be responsible for accurately entering orders and creating shipments in a timely manner. This person will be expected to understand and follow procedures as provided, have attention to detail, and effective interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately key customer orders, sales, marketing and engineering orders into ERP system as assigned
  • Accurately process customer EDI orders in ERP system as assigned
  • Accurately key sales, marketing and engineering orders into ERP system as assigned
  • Accurately key customer returns, credit memos and debit memos into ERP system
  • Create return labels for customer returns
  • Process credit cards for pay in advance customers
  • Process order confirmations, shipment details and invoices on customer portals as assigned
  • Make updates to customer orders as requested by buyer, sales representative or sales manager
  • Release orders, back orders and future orders in a timely manner
  • Generate daily reports for backorder replenishment, outstanding orders, etc.
  • Effective communication with other departments as needed
  • Work as a team
  • Work safely, and report any safety hazards immediately
  • Maintain good housekeeping in personal area and all commons areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma-required
  • Bachelor’s Degree-preferred
