Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

As a Dealer Order Analyst, you will be responsible for managing dealer parts order fulfillment and serving as a key liaison between dealers, distribution centers, and internal business partners to ensure customer requirements are met. You will proactively identify and resolve fulfillment risks, supply chain constraints, and inventory challenges while driving solutions that improve customer service, dealer satisfaction, and operational performance. Working across multiple functions, you will provide expertise in order fulfillment, sourcing strategies, inventory availability, and dealer support processes to support business objectives and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Additional Information:
  • This role is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation.
  • This role is 1st shift, Monday – Friday.
  • This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.
  • This role requires up to 5% domestic travel.
  • This role requires participation in an occasional weekend coverage rotation to support business needs, with overtime pay and applicable shift premiums provided.
What You Will Do:
  • Manage assigned dealer order portfolios, including planned, emergency, MEGA, and backordered requirements.
  • Monitor order demand and fulfillment risks, developing solutions to support customer delivery commitments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers on order fulfillment, supply constraints, and escalation requests.
  • Provide guidance on sourcing alternatives, inventory availability, lead times, and order strategies.
  • Conduct business reviews with dealers to strengthen partnerships and improve service performance.
  • Analyze fulfillment challenges, including inventory shortages, transportation delays, and supplier constraints.
  • Partner with inventory, procurement, logistics, distribution centers, and product teams to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Coordinate recovery plans and escalations for critical customer downtime situations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance fulfillment performance, dealer support, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, driving best practices and service excellence.
  • Develop and communicate operational reports, service metrics, and fulfillment trends to stakeholders.
  • Present recommendations and business insights to dealers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of escalations, corrective actions, and customer commitments.
  • Support strategic initiatives, new program implementations, and system enhancements that improve customer outcomes.

  • Experience managing emergency, downtime, or critical customer order situations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Background in project management, Lean, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with SAP, PartsViz, Antares, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar business systems.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across multiple teams.

Summary Pay Range:
