Title: Sr Business Systems Analyst Oracle Quote to Order (Order Management)

Remote Location: 2000 Progress Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60196

Work Schedule: Mon to Fri | 8 AM to 5 PM CST (Can be located anywhere in the US but must be willing to work hours in CST dues to daily mandatory team calls)

Duration: 3-6 Months - Temporary to hire based on Business need, Candidate performance and Attendance

Interview Format: 2 Virtual interview (30-minute each)

5+ years of recent Quote to Order and IT experience

Job Summary:

The position requires hands-on experience with Oracle Quote to Order implementations over the last 5 years. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical knowledge beyond general summaries.

This position is a new position focused within the Quote to Order (Q2O) process area. The successful candidate will be expected to balance day-to-day operational support activities, working closely with Application Managed Services (AMS) partners, while also leading and contributing to system enhancements, process improvements, and project-based initiatives.

The candidates must possess a strong understanding of the complete customer order lifecycle and associated upstream and downstream business processes.

Candidates should have hands-on experience working within the Oracle ecosystem, specifically:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) on-premises
  • Oracle Fusion Order Management and related functions

The ideal candidate will understand the integration and data flow between customer orders, purchase orders, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounting systems, and be able to identify impacts across interconnected business processes and applications.

Preferred Background:

  • IT functional consultants with Oracle Quote to Order expertise are strongly preferred.
  • Candidates from Finance or Accounting organizations will also be considered if they have actively participated in Oracle implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects and possess a solid understanding of the underlying technology, system integrations, and business process architecture.
  • Experience collaborating across business and technical teams to support operational activities and project delivery is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, and boundary applications (80% functional, 20% technical)
  • Review Quote to Order processes across multiple order sources
  • Leading and Managing complex IT projects, including cloud migrations.
  • Create functional designs and technical specifications to extend and enhance Order Management applications, encompassing both on-premise Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud deployments.
  • Work with business partners across all business functional areas to understand their requirements, develop creative solutions, and lead the development, testing and implementation.
  • Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time and on budget.
  • Use your business acumen, technical skills, and knowledge of Oracle applications to estimate effort, engage IT partners, and lead solution delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proactively manage conflicting priorities, and drive prioritization discussions using strategic value.
