Job description

  • Identify and pursue new CPO (Co-Packaged Optics), active/passive optical component business opportunities in Hyperscale Data Center, leveraging existing industry knowledge and networks.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence for optical product lines.
  • Possess a deep understanding of data center rack/server/network infrastructure and interconnects.
  • Providing end-to-end support in winning new optical module business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, product management, marketing) to align business strategies with product development and market needs.
  • Participate in industry committees and groups to stay informed about market trends and technological advancements like OFC, OCP(Open Compute Project), OPTICA and DesignConference.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, future technologies, and optical market opportunities specifically focus on CPO (Co-Packaging Optics)
  • Develop an understanding of CPO(Co-Packaged Optics) market segmentation, application and customer needs, competition, market trends and dynamics to support strategies to target new opportunities and threats.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager to support business objectives.

Requirements
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in diversified products, particularly photonics ,optoelectronics components and optical alignments.
  • Proven track record of at least a decade of successful business management and sales experience
  • Minimum 10 years of solutions selling experience.
  • Experience in selling photonics-based products.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prepare and present effective technical product presentations, and communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and reports.
  • Team player and works well in complex, cross-functional, global situations
  • Strategic selling skills for complex optics sales
