POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities within assigned markets. This role represents the full suite of State Cleaning Solutions products and services, ensuring customer needs and expectations are consistently met. The Business Development Manager builds strong relationships while driving profitable growth and supporting strategic objectives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify sales opportunities and cultivate them into strong, lasting customer relationships
  • Clearly articulate multi-faceted cleaning programs and demonstrate the benefits of partnering
  • Coordinate company personnel, including support services and management resources, to achieve account performance goals and meet customer objectives
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth and strategic initiatives
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs
  • Travel regionally as required to support customer relationships and business development efforts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to craft compelling, executive-level sales presentations for Directors and above
  • Previous experience with cleaning chemicals preferred, particularly in institutional laundry, warewash, and housekeeping programs
