Job description

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift for a client site in Moreno Valley, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and grow your career with a reputable organization. This is a temp to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-6 years of experience. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day to day warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, accuracy, and service-level expectations are consistently met. This role oversees warehouse associates, supports continuous improvement efforts, and helps maintain a positive, high performance work environment. The starting pay is a salary of $72,000 a year. Schedule is Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm (overtime and Saturday's when needed/ must have schedule flexibility)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, and inventory control.

  • Assign labor and workflow to meet daily production goals.

  • Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates.

  • Conduct shift huddles, assign tasks, and ensure employee compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage attendance, performance reviews, employee coaching, and corrective actions.

  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety programs.

  • Conduct safety audits, ensure proper equipment use, and drive a culture of safety.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational guidelines.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Assist in implementing operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts.

  • Maintain clear communication between shifts, departments, and leadership.

  • Prepare and deliver shift reports, productivity updates, and issue escalation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Maintenance, and Training.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2- 6 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety standards, and workplace compliance.

  • Proficient in WMS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email).

  • Ability to lead/coach teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in high-volume distribution fulfillment.

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay Details: $72,000.00 per year
