Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the enterprise SaaS operating model.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to improve DORA metrics and engineering productivity.
  • Improve platform reliability, observability, incident management, and resilience.
  • Build and mentor high-performing technical leadership teams including SAP BASIS administrators, Hana DBAs, Linux/Windows Administrators and Cloud Engineers. 
  • Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI.
  • Communicate operational strategy and business outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Directly engage in customer calls, addressing and resolving escalations including P1, P2, and P3 incidents in our 24x7 operational environment

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years executive leadership in SaaS/cloud engineering or operations.
  • Experience leading DevOps, SRE, Cloud Operations, Database Operations, Release Engineering, and Support.
  • Deep expertise with Kubernetes and multi-cloud platforms.
  • Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, observability, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
  • Executive communication and organizational leadership skills.
  • Extensive experience managing teams in a Managed Cloud Delivery environment with 24x7 operations
  • A strong understanding of SAP BASIS, HANA, Linux/Windows administration, and cloud engineering
  • You should have a proven track record of successfully handling customer escalations and delivering exceptional customer service
