Responsibilities
What you get to do every day:
  • Manage application deployments across multiple environments - including deploying code updates, troubleshooting deployment failures, and executing environment-specific configurations
  • Own the Change Management (CHG) process for production deployments - prepare and submit change requests, shepherd them through ISO, TESR, and Outage Board approval gates, and coordinate deployment windows with stakeholders
  • Maintain security and compliance posture - manage XACTA documentation, ensure TESR approval requirements are met, enforce enterprise log retention policies (NSS requirements)
  • Operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure - manage GitLab CI configurations

Qualifications
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with CI poly
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps or Site Reliability Engineering in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management (GitLab CI preferred)
  • Proficiency with containerized deployments - ECS, Docker, and container orchestration
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure services - Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, SSM Parameter Store, S3
  • Familiarity with change management and security accreditation processes in a DoD/IC environment (CHG submissions, RMF, XACTA)
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and rollback procedures

What is ideal?
  • Experience with EKS (Kubernetes) migrations or hybrid ECS/EKS environments
  • Familiarity with Springfield, VA customer enterprise requirements for National Security Systems (NSS), including log retention and compliance standards
  • Experience with MCP server deployment
  • Node.js / TypeScript ecosystem familiarity (Lambda runtimes, dependency management, layer packaging)
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
  • Intelligence Community Experience preferred
