The Manager, Operations Analytics will be a key leader within the Operations team, generating tools, cadences, and insights that will guide our operational strategy, day-to-day-execution, and customer-facing solutions. This position will lead a team of business analysts while working closely with operations teams, customers, and various internal stakeholders to support the operational excellence and business growth. This position requires high judgment, excellent analytical abilities, and a creative mind to invent solutions to improve customer delivery experience; it also offers broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams across DSV.

ย Essential Duties
  • Define, generate, and maintain standardized key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, analyses, etc. in support of various operational and functional teams, leveraging multiple data sources and visualization tools on an as-needed basis.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts / data professionals fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation while supporting operational functions
  • Identify trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our operational decisions.
  • Collaborate and partner within team and across the organization to develop best practices for your function and advocate for improvements in enterprise-wide tools.
  • Drive performance against Operations Analytics team objectives and KPIs
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • Assess and document existing business procedures. Develop recommendations for new methods / procedures, implementation plans, schedules and written reports for management to evaluate.
  • Support commercial activities by preparing qualitative and quantitative business cases, showcasing DSV's performance and value creation across solutions-offerings.
  • Work closely with business leaders and clients to analyze and document client requirements and develop and implement best practice, consistent, standardized IT Solutions.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Champion a strong team culture focused on inclusion, engagement and continuous learning
  • Provide ongoing feedback, performance management and developmental opportunities to team members
  • Partner effectively with local and central stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Work with, and through Operations, People & Organization (P&O), and other stakeholders to drive actions supporting business objectives.
  • Develop client relationship-management skills via involvement in implementation support, AQP meetings, Deep Dives, Business Reviews, etc.
  • Facilitate key business cadences and own the design, maintenance, and continual improvement of related materials
  • Drive tactical execution and continuous improvement while also providing executive-level insights and updates, inclusive of continuous improvement target-identification, task status updates and impacts, operational performance levels, and proactive risk identification
QualificationsRequired
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, or a closely related field, ideally within a multi-site or large-scale operations environment
  • Strong knowledge of operational systems (WMS, TMS, etc.), tools, and data
  • Experience owning and managing KPIs, financial performance
  • Working understanding of supply chain or logistics processes and the data structures that support them
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, user-friendly visuals that drive decision-making.
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Ability to build and publish functional dashboards independently
Preferred
  • Experience with large enterprise customers
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation - strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, R, DAX, or M) is strongly preferred.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification

Travel: Occasional travel across the distribution network (10-20%)

For this position, the expected base pay range isย $113,000.00 - $141,000.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
