Description
The Key Account Manager (KAM) at Videology is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships that drive long-term revenue growth, customer retention, and business expansion. The role focuses on high-value accounts where partnership development, technical understanding, and cross-functional coordination are critical to success.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and decision-makers
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned key accounts
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new program development
• Build and execute account plans aligned with company revenue and margin objectives
• Coordinate internally with engineering, operations, product management, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage customer forecasts, pipeline activity, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
• Support design-win opportunities and long sales-cycle programs
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer business developments
• Deliver regular business reviews, opportunity updates, and revenue forecasts to management
• Drive resolution of customer issues in a timely and professional manner
• Be proficient in the use of HubSpot marketing automation software per Videology standard operating procedures
Ensure all Videology policies and procedures are adhered to while performing the duties of this job position.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with Equivalent Experience
• Technical or engineering background is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered.
• Additional training or certifications in sales, account management, negotiation, or CRM systems are advantageous.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc), CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM, Sugar CRM or like platforms, as well as social media sites (including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate.
• 5+ years of account management, business development, or technical sales experience
