IU Health Medical Group South Region which is part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to practice in Bloomington, IN.
Position Details:
  • Full-time employment opportunity
  • Location Sites: 85% at Bloomington Hospital and 15% at Morgan and/or Paoli
  • 40% inpatient and 60% outpatient
  • In Office volume: 80 visits per week
  • Inpatient Volume- 14-16 patients per day
  • No Call
  • Medical students on site
Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Requires fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care
  • Open to current fellows and practicing physicians

Healthcare System/Hospital Description
The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
