RCP Management is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Onsite Assistant Property Manager to support operations at a large-scale community in West Windsor, NJ. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience across financial oversight, community operations, and resident relations-working closely with leadership while building strong connections with residents and board members.
This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $50,000-$55,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage.

Responsibilities
โข Conduct routine property inspections in accordance with management agreements to identify violations and maintain the overall appearance and standards of the community.
โข Implement and support the policies and procedures established by the homeowners' association.
โข Prepare meeting notices, agendas, and related correspondence as directed by the Community Manager.
โข Attend Board of Directors meetings as required by the management contract and accurately record meeting minutes.
โข Assist the Community Manager with the enforcement of community rules, regulations, and governing documents.
โข Identify and document violations, conduct follow-up actions, and work toward the timely resolution of issues.
โข Provide recommendations and operational support to the Community Manager regarding community matters and resident concerns.
โข Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including landscaping, maintenance and repairs, waste management, snow removal, pool operations, and other vendor services.
โข Review and track work orders to ensure timely completion and quality service.
โข Provide operational coverage and administrative support during the absences of on-site team members.
โข Respond professionally to homeowner inquiries, complaints, concerns, and suggestions to promote positive resident relations.
โข Prepare and distribute correspondence to keep residents informed and support the collection of association fees and dues.
โข Maintain and update the community website to ensure accurate and timely communication with residents.
Qualifications
โข Possess foundational knowledge of accounting, finance, community association law, insurance, property maintenance, and community management practices.
โข Demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in fast-paced or high-pressure situations requiring effective crisis management.
โข Build and maintain positive, professional, and trusting relationships with Board members, homeowners, and residents within each association.
โข Maintain a strong understanding of applicable laws, industry regulations, and community management best practices.
โข Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
โข Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion while consistently maintaining a professional demeanor.
