RCP Management is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Onsite Assistant Property Manager to support operations at a large-scale community in West Windsor, NJ. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience across financial oversight, community operations, and resident relations-working closely with leadership while building strong connections with residents and board members.
This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary of $50,000-$55,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Conduct routine property inspections in accordance with management agreements to identify violations and maintain the overall appearance and standards of the community.
โ€ข Implement and support the policies and procedures established by the homeowners' association.
โ€ข Prepare meeting notices, agendas, and related correspondence as directed by the Community Manager.
โ€ข Attend Board of Directors meetings as required by the management contract and accurately record meeting minutes.
โ€ข Assist the Community Manager with the enforcement of community rules, regulations, and governing documents.
โ€ข Identify and document violations, conduct follow-up actions, and work toward the timely resolution of issues.
โ€ข Provide recommendations and operational support to the Community Manager regarding community matters and resident concerns.
โ€ข Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including landscaping, maintenance and repairs, waste management, snow removal, pool operations, and other vendor services.
โ€ข Review and track work orders to ensure timely completion and quality service.
โ€ข Provide operational coverage and administrative support during the absences of on-site team members.
โ€ข Respond professionally to homeowner inquiries, complaints, concerns, and suggestions to promote positive resident relations.
โ€ข Prepare and distribute correspondence to keep residents informed and support the collection of association fees and dues.
โ€ข Maintain and update the community website to ensure accurate and timely communication with residents.
Qualifications
โ€ข Possess foundational knowledge of accounting, finance, community association law, insurance, property maintenance, and community management practices.
โ€ข Demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in fast-paced or high-pressure situations requiring effective crisis management.
โ€ข Build and maintain positive, professional, and trusting relationships with Board members, homeowners, and residents within each association.
โ€ข Maintain a strong understanding of applicable laws, industry regulations, and community management best practices.
โ€ข Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
โ€ข Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion while consistently maintaining a professional demeanor.
