Following the acquisition of Pink Dumpsters by Pellitteri Waste Systems, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within our Milwaukee division.
The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused operations. This position combines leadership, logistics coordination, customer relations, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will work closely with drivers, dispatch, customer service, and sales teams to support continued growth and service excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve dispatching and routing practices to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and logistically sound operations
  • Respond to general sales inquiries with support from the sales and customer service teams
  • Conduct accident investigations and assist with corrective action and safety initiatives
  • Manage relationships with key accounts and address customer service concerns
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to drivers and field personnel
  • Monitor daily operations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Serve as a working manager when needed, including assisting with route coverage and completing occasional loads
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations

Qualifications:
  • Active Wisconsin driver's license required
  • Valid CDL Class A or B license required
  • Experience using routing and dispatch software
  • Proven leadership experience managing and supporting driving staff
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in waste management, transportation, logistics, or a related industry preferred
  • Willing to undergo a drug screening in accordance with local law/regulations
