The Operations Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day operations, including safety, production, material flow, quality performance, and equipment readiness. This role ensures achievement of key business metrics across safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost, while maintaining a highly efficient and responsive manufacturing operation.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations to achieve business metrics in safety, people quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Set priorities and ensure alignment across production, engineering, quality, and materials to maintain production readiness.
  • Establish and maintain safe and clean work environment for all associates cultivating an environment of behavior-based safety.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive actions to close performance gaps.
  • Ensure consistent execution of standard work, production flow, and operational discipline.
  • Balance resources and adjust priorities to respond to demand changes and operational challenges.
  • Promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset while providing direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
  • Manage day to day production and optimize production flow, work instructions, rates, standards, etc.
  • Support training and development of all employees.
  • Execute additional responsibilities in support of overall business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree business, engineering, or related field required
  • 5-10 years direct experience in manufacturing or operations
  • Prior leadership experience in a production or manufacturing operation preferred
  • P&L responsibility preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development required
  • Ability to manage day-to-day operations while driving longer-term improvements
  • Production systems and material flow knowledge
  • Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles knowledge
  • Effective communication across all levels of the organization
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and adaptability

The Salary range for this position is $129,150.00-$165,000.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
