IT Support Technician

Installation and moving of PC equipment as well as preparing equipment for disposal. Software installation, OS upgrades, antivirus and windows patch updates. Printer and other peripheral installation Asset management and inventory update Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain software applications, OS, printers, peripherals & infrastructure Escalation from Helpdesk for OS and application support including in-house, 3rd party applications and market data applications. Infrequently, the person will have to extend support after office hours (evenings, weekends) to repair systems or troubleshoot problems Participate in outage escalation Provide vendor escort Floor Support Create and maintain support documentation Interacting with other support groups (local and global) within the firm across multiple platforms Assist Corporate Services with receiving IT equipment from the loading dock, update inventory Multimedia support/assistance in town hall setup or office event Technical Skills: Image a Machine (laptop / Desktop) Knowledge of SCCM DNS and DHCP Group Policy experience in configuring the new laptop/Desktop
