## RFID Technical Support Specialist
**Label Manufacturing | Alliance, Ohio**
### Technology Meets Manufacturing Excellence
Are you the person everyone calls when technology stops working? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working hands-on with hardware and software systems? We are seeking an experienced **RFID Technical Support Specialist** to help keep our advanced label manufacturing operations running at peak performance.
In this role, youll be the technical expert behind the systems that power RFID-enabled labelssupporting printers, readers, networks, and production software to ensure accurate, high-volume manufacturing with minimal downtime.
### What Youll Do
#### RFID Reader & Testing Support
* Maintain and troubleshoot RFID readers, antennas, and testing systems used throughout production
* Perform spot checks and validation testing to ensure label accuracy and performance
* Keep RFID hardware updated with the latest firmware and system enhancements
* Support and understand UHF and HF encoding standards and data structures
#### Software & Data Integration
* Assist with label design software and RFID data mapping
* Support middleware systems connecting production equipment to ERP and database systems
* Verify customer encoding files and ensure accurate translation to RFID tags
#### Computer & Network Support
* Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support for production PCs, tablets, and machine interfaces
* Maintain network connectivity for RFID equipment and production systems
* Monitor logs and troubleshoot communication issues or data bottlenecks
### What Were Looking For
* 2+ years of technical support experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
* Knowledge of RFID technology, including UHF Gen2 protocols and encoding processes
* Experience with industrial thermal printers and RFID encoding systems
* Understanding of TCP/IP networking, static IPs, and wireless troubleshooting
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on mindset
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with operators and management to resolve issues quickly and effectively
