What is an entry level help desk with paid training?

An Entry Level Help Desk with paid training is a starting position in IT support where new employees receive both a salary and structured training to help them learn the basics of troubleshooting, customer service, and technical support. These roles are designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in IT, making them ideal for recent graduates or career changers. During the paid training period, you learn how to resolve common technical issues, use help desk software, and communicate effectively with customers. This training helps build a foundation for future advancement in IT support or related fields.

What types of technical issues does an entry level help desk professional typically handle on a daily basis?

Entry Level Help Desk professionals commonly address a variety of technical issues such as password resets, basic software troubleshooting, printer connectivity problems, and network access requests. They may also assist users with setting up email accounts, installing approved applications, and resolving minor hardware issues. Most of these tasks are completed via phone, chat, or ticketing systems, providing a supportive environment for learning and skill development while working closely with more experienced IT staff.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level help desk professional with paid training, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Help Desk professional, you need fundamental knowledge of computer systems, troubleshooting, and basic networking, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Job description

Earn $20.25-$38+ Per Hour | Skilled Trade Career | No Experience Required
Location: Bellville, Ohio
Starting Pay During Training: $20.25/hour
Performance-Based Pay After Training
Build a Career, Not Just Another Job
At North Central Insulation, we don't believe great employees should have to wait months-or years-for a raise. As a family-owned company serving Ohio since 1971, we've built our reputation on quality craftsmanship, safety, and customer service. We're looking for motivated people who want to learn a skilled trade, build a long-term career, and be rewarded for their hard work. Whether you have previous construction experience or you're looking for a fresh start, we'll provide paid, hands-on training with experienced installers who will teach you the trade from the ground up.
How You'll Be Paid You'll begin your paid training at $20.25 per hour while learning alongside experienced installers. After completing training, you'll transition into our performance-based pay system. Unlike many companies where you wait for annual reviews or management to notice your work, our compensation rewards performance. As your speed, efficiency, and craftsmanship improve, so does your paycheck.
Your effort directly impacts your earnings. Experienced installers regularly earn between $30 and $38+ per hour through our performance-based pay system. Individual earnings depend on productivity, quality of work, and experience. If you're motivated, dependable, and willing to work hard, you have the opportunity to increase your income much faster than in a traditional hourly position.
What You'll Do As an Insulation Installer, you'll work on residential and commercial construction projects installing insulation and air-sealing systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities include:
  • Installing fiberglass, cellulose, and spray-applied insulation products
  • Air sealing homes and commercial buildings
  • Loading materials and traveling to job sites in company vehicles
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and insulation equipment
  • Working in attics, crawl spaces, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts when necessary
  • Preparing job sites and maintaining clean, organized work areas
  • Following manufacturer specifications and company installation standards
  • Participating in safety meetings and following company safety procedures
  • Performing vehicle inspections and caring for company equipment
  • Communicating with supervisors and teammates to ensure every project is completed correctly

This Position Is a Great Fit If You...
  • Want to learn a skilled trade with long-term career opportunities
  • Take pride in doing quality work
  • Enjoy working with your hands
  • Like staying physically active
  • Want your income to reflect your effort and productivity
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Show up on time and are dependable every day

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, elevated work areas, and outdoor conditions
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (drug-free workplace)

Previous construction or general labor experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person.
What We Offer
  • Starting pay of $20.25/hour during paid training
  • Performance-based pay after training with significant earning potential
  • Full-time, year-round employment
  • Guaranteed Sundays off
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid training with experienced installers
  • Paid time off after eligibility requirements are met
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits
  • Biweekly Payroll
  • Direct deposit
  • Advancement opportunities within a growing company
