Job description

Job Title: Office Services Assistant
Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary:
The Office Services Assistant supports day-to-day operations in the stockroom, mailroom, and administrative functions. This role requires strong customer service, physical ability, and organizational skills to manage deliveries, maintain supplies, and support facilities and meeting logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all incoming/outgoing deliveries (US Mail, FedEx, UPS, internal mail).

  • Operate mailing and shipping equipment.

  • Transport deliveries using carts, dollies, or pallet jacks.

  • Stock and organize pantry, office, and coffee/tea supplies.

  • Assist with office appearance, report maintenance issues to Facilities Manager.

  • Provide support for conference room setup, meeting logistics, and events.

  • Monitor and respond to Corporate Facilities email inquiries.

  • Collaborate with staff, management, and vendors as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in office services, facilities, hospitality, or site management.

  • Physically able to walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand 6–8 hours daily.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning new digital tools (apps, work order systems, handheld tech).

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable.

Note: This is a 100% onsite position requiring physical presence and active support of office operations.
