Job description

We are seeking a Full Time / PT Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for well visits and acute, episodic or chronic illnesses.
  • Provide medical orders for treatments, prescriptions/refills, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and referrals.
  • Review, interpret, and respond to diagnostic test results; and coordinates notifications to and follow up with the patient, when applicable.
  • Provide counseling to patients and their families on issues related to health.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using our EMR system( Office Practicum).
  • Create and contributes to patient care plans.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in time management and can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain professionalism with a welcoming bedside manner.
  • Work independently regarding most clinical decision-making.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Medical Director

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant ( PA)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
