The Role:
We're hiring a Part-Time Office Manager to keep our Seattle office running smoothly and make it a great place to be. This is a part-time, in-office role, Tuesday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm, 24 hours per week. You'll be the go-to person for everything office-related, from stocked kitchens to smooth-running team events. You'll be a friendly, organized presence the team can count on.
What matters most to us is how you operate. We're looking for someone proactive, meticulous, and genuinely invested in running a well-organized, welcoming office.
What You'll Do:
  • Keep the office stocked, organized, clean, and running smoothly day to day (supplies, snacks, kitchen, common areas)
  • Greet and assist visitors, candidates, and new hires so they have a great first impression of Read AI
  • Coordinate with vendors and building management on repairs, deliveries, and office services
  • Help plan and execute in-office events, team lunches, celebrations, and one off projects.
  • Manage office-related purchasing and keep track of budget and expenses
  • Be a point of contact for day-to-day office questions and light administrative support for the team
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace

What We're Looking For:
  • Prior experience in office management, administrative support, hospitality, or a similar role required
  • Highly organized and self-directed, able to juggle multiple small tasks without anything falling through the cracks
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable being the face of the office for employees and visitors alike
  • Strong communicator, comfortable coordinating with vendors, building staff, and team members
  • Resourceful and proactive, you notice what needs to get done and just do it
  • Comfortable with light budget tracking and expense management
  • High level of agency in owning the day-to-day tasks and deliverables
  • Available in-office Tuesday through Thursday, consistently with punctuality
