Job description

Murrieta Primary Care Clinic is seeking to hire well-organized and motivated Front Desk Receptionist. Candidate will manage the front desk area and provide positive first impressions along with welcoming to our patients. This position offers customer service and administrative responsibilities in an exciting, fast paced medical environment. Reporting to the Office Manager, our Front Desk Receptionist answer all incoming telephone calls in a professional manner. In addition, you will ensure that no company or customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Using a multi-line telephone, answers, and appropriately routes incoming calls to the appropriate extensions.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service: both on the phone and in person.
  • Demonstrate friendliness and proper phone etiquette with every customer.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work area.
  • Provides general information regarding routine inquiries from patients, and refers non-routine, sensitive, and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the Office Manager.
  • Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints or disputes.
  • Receives and greets patients and visitors.
  • Assists patients to check in and check out.
  • Provides assistance in preparation and distribution of materials.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
