Sales Manager (Off-Premise)

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven leader to manage and develop a multi-layered sales organization while driving distribution, execution, and profitability across the Wine & Spirits portfolio.


How You Will ContributeMarket / Operational Execution
  • Lead and execute sales strategies across the assigned territory to drive volume, distribution, and profitability.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement sales plans aligned with portfolio priorities and business objectives.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales programs, promotions, and trade initiatives across the market.
  • Monitor sales performance, distribution metrics, and KPIs; take action to address performance gaps and drive results.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize return on investment within the territory.

Customer & Account Support
  • Oversee account coverage strategy and ensure strong execution across on-premise and off-premise customers.
  • Support key customer relationships in partnership with Key Account Executives and Sales teams.
  • Ensure high standards of service, execution, and brand representation across all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with supplier partners to support portfolio growth and market activation.

Team & Operational Support
  • Lead, manage, and develop a multi-layered sales team, including supervisors and frontline representatives.
  • Assess performance, provide coaching, and implement development plans to build capability across the team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee reporting and communication of sales performance, financials, and operational metrics to leadership.
  • Ensure proper management of company assets, inventory standards, and operational compliance across the territory.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience within a multi-level organization (including supervisory responsibility).
  • Experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to execute sales strategies, manage performance, and deliver results in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort using sales and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams and external partners.

Physical & Schedule Expectations
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and attend events, customer meetings, and business initiatives as needed.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package and may qualify for a discretionary bonus.
