Overview

Who We Are

At BJ's Restaurants, we've been bringing people together to celebrate life's moments since 1978. We're more than a restaurant; we're a team of passionate people who take pride in creating great food, memorable experiences, and a workplace where everyone feels valued. If you're energized by teamwork, motivated to keep learning, and passionate about creating great experiences for others, you'll feel right at home here.

As our business continues to evolve, off-premise dining, including delivery, curbside, and pickup, has become a critical part of how we serve our guests and grow our brand.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

BJ's Restaurants is committed to being a leader in the off-premise dining space. As Manager, Off-Premise, you will own the execution, growth, and continuous improvement of our "to-go" business, with a focus on third-party marketplace performance and the physical handoff experience.

Reporting to the Director of Off-Premise & Digital Retail, you will act as the bridge between digital ordering and restaurant operations, ensuring every order is accurate, timely, and profitable. You'll take a hands-on, data-driven approach to optimizing performance across platforms, improving the guest experience, and driving measurable business impact.

How You'll Contribute

Off-Premise Execution & Growth

  • Execute the off-premise roadmap, translating strategy into clear KPIs tied to order growth and channel profitability
  • Optimize third-party marketplace performance (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats), including merchandising, placement, and discoverability
  • Manage pricing, promotions, and campaigns to drive incremental sales while protecting margins
  • Maintain brand integrity across all external platforms, ensuring menu accuracy, imagery consistency, and availability
  • Analyze menu performance and refine assortment, including removing or repositioning underperforming items

Fulfillment & Operational Excellence

  • Optimize the end-to-end off-premise journey, from digital ordering through fulfillment and guest handoff
  • Identify and resolve friction points in the customer experience, including drop-off, delays, and order defects
  • Partner with Restaurant Operations and IT to align in-restaurant execution with digital capabilities
  • Develop SOPs and playbooks for peak periods, outages, and operational disruptions
  • Monitor cancellation rates, refund trends, and order accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed

Analytics & Performance

  • Own dashboards and reporting for key metrics, including order accuracy, fulfillment time, cancellation rate, refunds, and profitability
  • Triangulate data across internal systems and third-party platforms to uncover insights and opportunities
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to continuously improve the guest experience and business outcomes
  • Present clear, actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders, identifying trends and growth opportunities

Channel & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party marketplace partners, including ongoing optimization and performance reviews
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure menu accuracy, modifier integrity, and compliance with brand standards
  • Oversee catering program performance, including process improvements and issue resolution
  • Evaluate and pilot new partner programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable ROI
Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product, e-commerce, marketplace, or off-premise strategy (multi-unit or high-volume environment preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and uncover opportunities
  • Experience working with third-party delivery platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats) and understanding of marketplace performance drivers
  • Experience managing digital menus, pricing, and content within CMS or similar platforms
  • Proven ability to run A/B tests, analyze customer behavior, and identify friction points in the user journey
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Salary Range

USD $115,000 - 125,000 plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Final salary within the range will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications.

Benefits that matter... Live your best life!

  • Competitive salary and bonus opportunities
  • 401(k) with company match to help you plan for the future
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Free and discounted meals
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities
  • Financial wellness and life planning resources
  • Team member discount program and additional lifestyle perks
  • A collaborative culture built on teamwork, service, and celebrating wins
