About the Role:

The Export Clerk will be responsible for handling AZ export operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule. This includes coordinating with shippers, carriers, agents, and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout the process
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle air and ocean export shipments from booking through final delivery
  • Coordinate with clients, overseas agents, carriers, truckers, and warehouses
  • Prepare and process all export documentation (HBL/MBL, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with all U.S. export regulations and international requirements
  • Track shipments and provide proactive updates to clients and partners
  • Handle routing, scheduling, and rate application based on customer needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems in real-time
  • Provide high-level customer service aligned with Fleischers standards

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in air export and/or ocean export
  • Strong working knowledge of CargoWise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general office systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Min. 1 year of higher education
