Temporary Full-Time Ocean Export Agent

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Regal Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Agent for a temporary full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing logistics and freight forwarding company. The ideal candidate will have experience in ocean export operations, documentation, and customer service within the freight forwarding industry.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage ocean export operations and prepare all required export documentation.
  • Coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
  • Arrange bookings and ensure timely shipment processing.
  • Prepare and review export documents, including Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLI) and Letters of Credit.
  • Verify shipment details, freight charges, and supporting documentation.
  • Process billing, data entry, and accounting-related tasks.
  • Complete outbound moves, transfer permits, and required customs documentation.
  • Track shipments and confirm cargo movement at origin and transshipment points.
  • Resolve shipment issues, shortages, and claims as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and files.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Freight Forwarding/Ocean Export experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of ocean export documentation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in documentation, scheduling, and reporting processes.
