You need a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and a real desire to help children grow. We'll teach you the rest - and pay you along the way.What Is a Behavior Technician, Anyway?Great question - and a common one.As a BT, you'll work one-on-one with a child on the autism spectrum, using play-based, evidence-driven techniques to build real-life skills: communicating, making friends, following routines, managing big feelings, and gaining independence.You won't figure it out alone. Every BT works under a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who designs each child's program and coaches you through it. All of our BTs become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and some go on to become BCBAs or to careers in psychology, education, speech, or occupational therapy and more.
