Job description

POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs tasks as required while utilizing safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOP's) for material movement with little to no supervision.
  • Loads and unloads material when needed
  • Ensures proper staging of raw material and finished goods
  • Completes all required shipping and receiving documents, labeling, packing slips and DOT materials as required
  • SAP knowledge. Data entry to SAP. Purchase orders, pick sheets, BOL, pack list, truck scheduling. End of shipping day activities, Post goods issued. Print and apply raw material labels.
  • Part time forklift driver. When needed for short staffed, vacation fills in.
  • Stocks materials as required by warehouse storage design lay out
  • Utilizes daily warehouse pick sheet/ list to determine the necessary materials as required
  • Familiar with company operating systems and able to enter data as required.
  • Notifies direct supervisor of any discrepancies
  • Maintains assigned work area, racking, tools board and warehousing equipment / forklift as required
  • Participate in warehouse/manufacturing/operational improvements events
  • Attends all training programs as required and sponsored by the company. Able to assist warehouse management with task delegation and follow up in the absence of Team Leads.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma
  • DOT certification
  • Forklift Certifications
  • 7 years of experience in warehouse or related field

SPECIFIC SKILLS
  • Safe operation of pallet jack/powered industrial truck/ operation equipment
  • Ability to lift / push up to 60lbs
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc...)

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Moderate conditions include the requirement of safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and other safety equipment when required
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time
