  • Clinical Shift Schedule: Tuesday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch); Mondays off
    • 4 days/week
  • On-Call Schedule: Night Call on some days - schedule TBD; Weekend Call Schedule - Fri 5pm - Mon 7am on rotation
  • Call Type: Telephone Call (Provider comes to the hospital only if requested by the APP)
  • Call Response Time: Telephone availability required

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Indiana Medical License or IMLC
  • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Board certification required within 5 years of residency)
  • DEA: Active DEA (if applicable)
  • Certifications:BLS Required, ACLS Required only if requesting conscious sedation privileges

Experience:

  • Oncology experience
  • Case logs required

Other Qualifications:

  • Flu vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
  • Must enter work hours in the Vemsta platform
  • Must complete order entry as the locum provider
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide inpatient oncology care
  • Evaluate and manage oncology patients during scheduled clinical hours
  • Participate in night and weekend telephone call rotation
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and provide physician support as needed
  • Travel to outreach clinic locations in Winchester and Hagerstown for scheduled coverage
  • Provider must be able to provide 4 weeks coverage in a month
