About the Role
Jacques Maire Mage is in search of a Product Development Intern who will support the product development team. You will assist the design team in the creation of prototypes and samples of new products, trims, and packaging. You will work closely with the supply chain team to coordinate the onboarding of new vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Head of Product Development and Product Development Manager
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to track artwork and samples
  • Ensure all developments meet calendar deadlines - collaborate with appropriate teams
  • Work directly with vendors on development for sample tracking and maintaining deadlines.
  • Follow-up regarding sample timing and product management - communicate any changes and updates affecting deadlines
  • Manage and update BOMs and product life cycle in system

Key Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or completed a degree/ or program in related field
  • Knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, PLM experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of product life cycle and vendor management
  • Solutions-oriented and critical thinker
  • Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and be proactive
  • Team player
