Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented New Product Development Coordinator to support the execution of new product launches and product changes within our food manufacturing environment. This role will provide administrative and project coordination support for new cookie and bread product development, packaging updates, bills of materials (BOMs), and labeling processes.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and has experience supporting cross-functional teams in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.

  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, and task lists for new product development initiatives 
  • Update project status based on team input 
  • Follow up with internal teams on outstanding tasks and deadlines 
  • Escalate overdue items to management as needed
  • Coordinate product development activities including sample tracking and trial scheduling
  • Enter and update BOM information in internal systems 
  • Verify BOM data accuracy
  • Track packaging change requests and artwork status 
  • Maintain organized files for product specifications, approvals, and project records 
  • Ensure documentation is complete and properly stored 
  • Perform data entry and updates in ERP systems/project tracking tools

Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience 
  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or support role 
  • Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferred 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously 
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry systems

Work Environment

  • Office and food manufacturing facility environment
