Responsibilities:
  • Create documentation of new designs including 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical information needed for brochures and productmanuals.
  • Convert customer requirements into product designs
  • Participate in new product development activities
  • Ability to work with Manufacturing to implement new product designs into production
  • Analyze where processes and procedures are underutilized or inefficient then design new processes and procedures for the business to follow
  • Support sales and technical service in answering technical questions about new products
  • Capability to utilize hand and simple power tools along with instruments required to set and perform lab tests
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a New Product Development Engineer is required
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
  • Previous experience creating parts and assemblies is required
  • 3D CAD & Solid Edge experience
  • Experience with coding languages (VBA, Python, Java, etc.); VBA preferred
  • Microsoft Office
  • ERP Software experience

Requirements
Our Client is NOT looking for a Mechanical Designer, a Project Manager with New Product Development experience would be ideal.
Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant Engineering Degree
  • Previous experience with New Product Development (2-3 years)
  • Previous experience with Coding Languages (VBA, Python, Java)- prefer VBA
  • Previous experience with an ERP System
  • Previous experience Creating Parts & Assemblies in 3D CAD

Nice-to-Have:
  • Previous experience with Teamcenter & Infor's Syteline software
  • Solid Edge experience
