Job description

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Director of Neurology to join our growing Medical Specialties Service Line. 

The Director of Neurology will provide clinical, operational and strategic leadership for Neurology services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Director will provide administrative oversight while integrating clinical care, academic teaching, and program development across the health system. This role is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, building subspecialty programs, providing patient access, and maintaining stroke center certification. The Director will ensure delivery of high-quality neurological care, drive innovation, and foster multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board certification in Neurology
  • Fellowship training in Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or related subspecialty is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Neurosciences
  • Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
