Beanstalk Academy is a leading, full-service child care and early education provider with 10+ locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn. We support and accommodate our families' needs by providing a safe and nurturing childcare experience. Our trained and dedicated teachers work together with parents to give each child the confidence and skills to succeed.

Job Summary:

Beanstalk Child Care Academy is seeking an outstanding Education Director to lead several of our locations. As an Education Director, you will be responsible for leading our team of educators, managing facilities, and ensuring compliance with state and local licensing regulations. If you have a passion for early childhood education, a strong business acumen, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education to young children, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities, staff, and programs to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children and families

  • Supervise and develop a team of "Best In Class" educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education programs

  • Partner with parents to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's education and care

  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners

Requirements:

  • NYS Certification for Early Childhood Education Birth to Grade 2 (Required)

  • F07 and S95 (Required or willing to obtain them upon hire)

  • Student Building Leadership/Student District Leadership Certification (Preferred)

  • Two years or more of teaching and supervising experience in a similar position

  • Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively

  • Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum, ECERS, and Teaching Strategies Gold

Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
