UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, GlenOaks, Hinsdale and La Grange hospitals are affiliated with UChicago Medicine, one of the top academic medical centers in the country. We are also part of AdventHealth, a unified health system with over 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout 9 states.


UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Regional Medical Director for our comprehensive Neurology program in the western suburbs of Chicago. Our program offers patients with neurological issues a multidisciplinary diagnostic and medical management approach to their diseases. The goal of the Medical Director is to create an exceptional, patient centered care model for the Program that includes value, talent, and reputation.

The Medical Director is accountable for the performance, engagement, and collaboration of the clinical program in the Great Lakes Region. The Medical Director has joint responsibility with the administrative counterpart for leadership and clinical oversight of the Program and clinical services in the Program. In collaboration with the campus leadership including their medical directors, and medical staff; the Medical Director will focus on clinical and programmatic excellence and quality of care, physician and clinical staff development.

  • Physician with leadership experience, a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will perform 90% of this role is in a clinical capacity, with 10% for medical director duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and US residency program
  • Current Illinois Physician medical license in good standing
