We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Recovery Services Center as a full-time Remote Mental Health Therapist. In this critical role, you will work with students, families, and school staff to provide essential mental health support, promoting emotional wellness within an educational setting.

This full-time position is uniquely offered in a remote setting, allowing you to manage your schedule flexibly while primarily serving school-aged clients and their families. As a remote therapist, you will be equipped with state-of-the-art digital platforms to facilitate secure and effective communication and documentation.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health challenges, identifying both strengths and weaknesses in clients.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and cultural contexts of diverse clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to foster client healing and resilience.
• Develop detailed treatment plans with measurable goals, interventions, and methods to track client progress over time.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, psychologists, and psychiatrists to coordinate holistic mental health care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and formulating individualized safety plans.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate their connection with community resources to ensure comprehensive support.
• Engage in impactful community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Your work at Recovery Services Center will primarily focus on a diverse student population, including elementary, middle, and high school students facing an array of mental health challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems, providing them with strategies for improved emotional health in their academic environment. Your efforts will significantly contribute to enhancing the overall atmosphere of well-being within the schools you serve.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic practices and a solid understanding of mental health laws, ethical standards, and best practices.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a high level of empathy when interacting with clients.

• Previous experience in a community mental health setting or school environment is preferred.
• Proven ability to engage with and understand the complexities of cultural and socio-economic factors affecting mental health.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems or similar documentation tools.
