At Holistic Change, we provide supportive services to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. We're looking for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) who are passionate about recovery and want to use their lived experience to uplift others on their journey.
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide peer-based, non-clinical support to individuals in recovery
  • Lead peer support groups and offer one-on-one mentorship
  • Help clients set and work toward recovery and wellness goals
  • Connect residents to community resources (housing, employment, education, etc.)
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals
  • Accurately document services provided
What You Bring:

  • Current CPRS certification in Maryland (or proof of training scheduled test date)
  • 2+ years of sustained recovery (substance use and/or mental health)
  • Strong communication skills and empathy
  • Ability to maintain healthy boundaries and model recovery
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a background check
Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or recovery setting
  • Familiarity with local support services and community resources
Physical Requirements:

  • May require sitting, standing, and lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
