National Sales Director

Travel: Approximately 65% nationwide travel

Lead National Growth for a Market Leader

We are seeking an accomplished National Sales Director to drive strategic growth, expand our dealer network, and strengthen key contract relationships across the United States. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a proven sales executive who thrives on building partnerships, identifying market opportunities, and delivering measurable revenue growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and has deep expertise in the contract furniture industry. What You'll Do
Drive National Growth
  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on expanding market share and increasing revenue.
  • Deliver a minimum of 10% annual sales growth through dealer development, strategic account acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in underdeveloped and high-potential markets.
  • Establish revenue goals, performance metrics, and growth initiatives across targeted regions.

Expand and Strengthen Dealer Partnerships
  • Recruit, develop, and support high-performing dealer partners in key strategic markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to dealers, helping them improve sales effectiveness, marketing execution, and customer engagement.
  • Communicate the value of partnering with Open Plan Systems and drive long-term dealer success.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with the dealer network to identify opportunities, address challenges, and accelerate growth.

Build Contract and Strategic Account Success
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen and expand national contract relationships.
  • Engage directly with targeted contract accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Participate in the evaluation and pursuit of major projects and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.

Develop Sales Excellence
  • Deliver training and coaching to dealers and Territory Managers on presentation skills, sales strategy, and marketing best practices.
