Responsibilities

Meritage Homes is seeking a National Sales Trainer to support and develop our sales teams across the South region, including North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.

The National Sales Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Content creation and delivery aligned with MAS sales philosophy and Agent Centric Selling both in person and virtually for sales team.
  • Establish and maintain overall training curriculum and learning agenda for sales organization to include;
  • Evaluate and incorporate appropriate delivery methods of training to support content and team engagement.
  • Create and maintain a central site to access all relevant training for team use.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in MAS sales technique and Salesforce CRM use.
  • Ongoing evaluation of updating training content and classes to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Support Regional Leadership, Division President, VP/Director of Sales around division and corporate initiatives and Sales Fitness pillars and Meritage Active Sales strategy.
  • Assist National Vice President of Sales in special projects and corporate initiatives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in Meritage business applications and best practices to support learning of the sales team.
  • Travel as needed to deliver content in sales meeting settings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership in the continued training and development of their teams and support individual sales team member development and performance where requested.
  • Partner with other departments on sales training needs.
  • Travel expected to be minimum of 1 week per month

Qualifications
  • Strong understand of both B2B and B2C sales skills
  • Excellent coaching and group presentation skills
  • High school diploma required, a Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of real estate sales experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of sales leadership preferred
  • Heavy experience and proficiency in Salesforce
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in: MS Office applications including Outlook, Powerpoint, Word & Excel; Microsoft Teams; Salesforce programs; Synthesia AI Training Platform
  • Strong Oral/Written Communication and Interpersonal, and Customer Service skills; ability to communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism
