This role is essential to driving the national sales of the company's frozen seafood products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of contacts within Retail Grocery and National Restaurant Chains, with a particular emphasis on Retail Grocery, which should account for at least half of their business.

This position is designed for an individual who excels in hunting for new business opportunities. While the role includes inheriting a small book of business, the primary focus is on expanding the client base, rather than acting as an Account Manager.

Seafood National Sales Job Responsibilities
  • Drive national sales of frozen seafood products across various channels.
  • Utilize existing contacts within Retail Grocery and National Restaurant Chains to foster business growth.
  • Focus predominantly on Retail Grocery sales, ensuring it comprises at least half of the business.
  • Proactively hunt for new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
  • Manage and grow a small inherited book of business, with a primary focus on developing new contacts and sales channels.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Frozen Seafood Sales Representative.
  • Strong network of contacts within Retail Grocery or Large National Restaurant Chains.
  • Demonstrated success in multi-channel sales on a national scale.
  • Experience in frozen seafood sales, specifically targeting Retail Grocery and National Restaurant Chains.
  • Not suited for candidates primarily experienced in restaurant sales, broker sales, procurement/purchasing, or production management.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience and contacts in the frozen seafood industry. Our client is looking for a dynamic National Sales Executive who can effectively utilize their network and sales skills to drive significant growth in a competitive market.

If you have the relevant experience and are skilled in hunting for new business opportunities, we encourage you to apply for this pivotal role in expanding our client's presence in the national seafood market.
