These refineries play a critical role in the energy sector by transforming raw oil into products that power vehicles, industries, and homes. National Refineries are often strategically located to serve regional or national markets and typically adhere to strict environmental and safety regulations. They may be state-owned or publicly traded companies, and often contribute significantly to a country's economy.
