UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER
Lemont, Illinois US
Full-time, Part-time, Flex- ALL SHIFTS

We are looking for Unarmed Security Officers to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Qualifications:
  • 2027 Valid Perc Card
  • 20hr Unarmed training record
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)- assistance provided through employer
  • Minimum education requirement; High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum (2) years of professional security experience or (2) years of military experience or (2) years post high school academic training in related field
  • Driver's License- required for some posts
  • Reliable transportation

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
  • Read and write in English language in order to complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
Working conditions:
  • All posts consist of an outdoor component that may involve inclement weather conditions
Physical requirement:
  • With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds, require moderate to arduous exertion and running short distances.
