Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent (MTA) - Heavy Civil to contribute to the successful delivery of MTA construction projects for a leading general contractor in this space . The role involves overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Assistant Superintendent (MTA) - Heavy Civil will be a pivotal hire and is open due to growth.

Client Details Our client is a leading general contractor with a reputation for high quality, and robust MTA construction projects. Their projects range in the $50M - $100M+ range, and are generally multi-year projects. The Assistant Superintendent (MTA) - Heavy Civil is open due to growth, and will have a a long runway to being promoted to Superintendent.

This project will be in New York, New York - but the general contractor completes projects in the New York, New York metropolitan area. Description Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing daily construction activities on-site. Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and address any issues. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and reports. Ensure materials and equipment are available and on-site as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans. Assist in resolving any on-site challenges promptly and effectively.
