At our Qdoba location inside Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), we serve great food, deliver exceptional service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for travelers across the Twin Cities.

About the Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly and to meet our high standards for service and food quality. Although this position lists Qdoba at MSP Airport as the home location, this is a multi-unit role. You will support and oversee operations across more than one restaurant concept inside the airport. You will lead a team of Food Travel Experts, manage daily operations, and provide hands-on support to keep the environment safe, efficient, and guest-focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations across multiple units, including opening, service, and closing procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations
  • Maintain inventory, place orders, and manage product quality and presentation
  • Oversee cash handling and reconciliation in line with company policies
  • Monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct disciplinary actions when needed
  • Communicate clearly with management and team members and address guest feedback promptly

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in quick service, fast casual, or full-service dining
  • 1+ year of kitchen or back-of-house supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and control costs
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe, food safety, health, and safety regulations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
