Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the kids ministry. This is a part-time, hourly (non-exempt) position, working 20 hours per week.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Involved in selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
  • Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
  • Supporting weekend and midweek programming as directed.
  • Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.ย 
  • Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.
  • Serve as a PHASE expert.

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in progress; a focus in education/ministry is a plus.
  • Experienced with 1 year in a kids' ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
