Job description

BASIC PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY: Support the Global Ministry team in processes and requirements related to community ministries and church multiplication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support mobilizing short-term mission trip teams to support our NYC church plants as needed.
  • Assist with administrative help for NYC mission trips before, during, and/or after the trip as needed.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for Church Multiplication.
  • Support the new Atlanta church plant process as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to our Community Ministry areas: Adoption & Foster Care, Refugee Ministry, Local Partners, Seasonal Outreach Events, etc.
  • Serve as the point of contact for international congregations and assist with calendaring/room reservations.
  • Support MOVE Conference administration projects.
  • Administrative support duties such as scheduling meetings, assisting with schedules, follow-up phone calls, financial tracking, submitting purchase orders, journal transfers, making copies, etc.
  • Assist with providing support and follow-up regarding GMT meetings.
  • Assist others in Global Ministry office as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in all regular staff meetings, functions, retreats, training, team projects and initiatives, etc.
  • Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

V. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College degree preferred; Seminary experience a plus.
  • Experience working, supporting and participating in local missional opportunities.
  • Experience supporting church planting opportunities both locally and nationally.

VI. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of standing and sitting. Sitting at a desk or working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds at times.
