Job description

Eureka College is seeking an adjunct professor in Education, Psychology, or Business/Leadership to support the Student Success team for the fall semester 2026 (and potentially beyond). This position will teach 2, 3-credit courses (with 12-15 students each) at the introductory level to our College Connect cohort. College Connect at EC is a grant funded program that supports first-year students with the transition to college; closing the gap between secondary coursework and their higher education academic goals.The aim of this course is to provide resources and opportunities to practice a growth mindset and self-regulated learning to foster belonging and academic resilience among the students in our 2026 cohort. The ideal course will assist students in their first semester courses by both encouraging and practicing reflection, goal setting, and grit in college courses and social interactions on campus and in professional and personal relationships.
This position is an adjunct professor, part-time, paid per credit hour taught and currently listed only for the fall semester, 2026. There is potential for future courses in the future. The position will report to the Provost and/or Associate Provost.
Pay Range: $4,200 - $6,000 per year
