Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available support resources.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that set clear objectives and strategies based on ongoing client evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination in care delivery.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention, conduct thorough risk assessments, and design safety plans to support clients in critical situations.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation of client interactions, treatment methodologies, and progress notes in alignment with ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing chronic mental health disorders and families in distress. Our clientele often seeks assistance for issues related to relationship problems, life transitions, grief/loss, and emotional trauma. Every day, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to counseling to ensure that every individual feels understood, valued, and supported.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Candidates with a Masterโ€™s Degree are strongly encouraged to apply.
