Position Overview:

The Millwright Supervisor will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of Millwrights and is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of millwright performed at the assigned location.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for the supervision of a crew that works on the operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.
  • Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and verify that all appropriate equipment is available onsite to complete the job safely.
  • Driving and pulling equipment to various regional locations.
  • Engages with prospects and clients and vendors to determine their needs, recommending services that align with these requirements.
  • Demonstrates the functionality and benefits of services tailored to customer needs, emphasizing practical value and application.
  • Enforce jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program
  • Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
  • Acts as a liaison for all site leadership in their region and maintains positive client relations.
  • Actively develops and maintains a high-performing team that is dedicated to customer service.
  • Performs various other duties and functions as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Must have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
  • Class B CDL is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite or related software.

  • Ability to follow safety protocol and to report any incident, unsafe act, or unsafe condition immediately to the site supervisor and safety manager.

Training

  • Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10 hour within 60 days of starting at hth companies.
